The purpose of the exam is not just to check the understanding and knowledge gained at high school, but to choose candidates with suitable capacity for pursuing Information Technology. The exam took place in six locations with 120 rooms in the form of multiple choice questions. Candidates sat the exams in a serious and strict manner and exam supervisors did not have to suspend any candidates. The essay topic also interested candidates in terms of looking at the situation from a different perspective, which allowed them to feel free to express their opinions. What was remarkable about the exam is that no cheating was seen in any of the 120 rooms.
One supervisor, who is a lecturer at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, said that this is a very effective and scientific examination model, which makes candidates sit the exam using their own ability.
Due to the long holiday period and the large number of candidates, the FPT University Enrolment Council decided to announce the results on May 8 rather than May 14 on the website and at the Enrolment Consultancy Offices of the University. Selected candidates will then be invited for an interview on credit and scholarships in May and July. Students who passed will officially begin classes after the announcement of the floor mark of the entrance exam to universities and colleges in July.
