New functions for TienPhongBank
October 6, Deputy Minister of Finance Trần Xuân Hà signed Decision No. 2197/QĐ – BTC regarding announcement of the supplemental list of underwriters and companies allowed to issue government bond, government underwritten bonds, and local authority bonds for the year of 2008. TienPhongBank was among the 10 listed agencies.

This Decision, together with the Decision by the Hanoi Securities Trading Center regarding recognition of TienPhongBank as a tender for bond bidding effective on August 29, 2008, shall allow TienPhongBank to provide bond issuing consultancy services.
The underwriter will support the issuing company in bond issuing procedure, bond distribution to investors, purchase of bond to re-sell, purchase of unsold bonds, and other businesses as specified in the signed underwriting contract.
