Newly-appointed BOD member visit FPT HCM
Mr. Tomokazu Hamaguchi will visit and work with the member units of FPT HCM on April 1-2. This is his first besiness trip to FPT HCM on his new position.

In the afternoon of April 1st, Mr. Tomokazu Hamaguchi will visit and work with companies located at FPT Tan Thuan Building (District 7, HCMC) including FPT Telecom and FPT Trading, FPT Online and Sendo. In the morning of April 2nd, he will make a visit to F-Town of FPT Software.
Earlier, on 21-22 August 2014, Mr. Tomokazu Hamaguchi also visited and worked with FPT’s member companies in Hanoi.
In August 2014, FPT’s BOD approved the appointment of Mr. Tomokazu Hamaguchi, Chairman of JISA- the largest non-profit organization of Japan's IT industry, as a temporary member of the BOD. Accordingly, besides performing the work of members of the BOD, Mr. Hamaguchi will consult and direct implementation of the global strategy of the Company, especially in Japan.
The newly-appointed member of FPT’s Board of Directors (BOD), is a well-known person in the field of IT. He was a former CEO of was a former CEO of the company NTTData (Japan)-the 6th largest global IT services company (from 2003 to 2007). NTT Data is under Japan’s NTT Group, which ever ranked 32nd in the Fortune Global 500 list of 2013.
Currently, NTT Data has around 75,000 employees, operating in 40 countries around the world, with USD 13 billion in annual revenues. Mr. Hamaguchi is now a senior advisor to the company.
In addition, Mr. Hamaguchi is also CEOs of JR Higashi Nihon and IHI Corporation, one of the largest industrial equipment manufacturers in Japan . He is the incumbent Chairman of JDMC.
