As part of the agreement between FPT University and University of Shinshu, the two sides will conduct teacher exchange programs, student exchange programs, and fellowship programs; training curriculum research; and participate in seminars and meetings.
Students in the exchange programs can register for courses at University of Shinshu (either Japanese course to improve language skills, or specialized courses in IT) for a period of 6 to 12 months. Registration and tuition fees are covered as part of the program. It is expected that FPT University will have at least 2 students participating in this program every year.
Meanwhile, the affiliation program with University of Aizu focuses mainly on exchange of teachers and training curriculum (co-teaching, co-research, participation in seminars, cultural exchange program…). The student exchange program between the two universities is undergoing final negotiations and is expected to be realized in the near future.
FPT University now has affiliation programs with 9 universities over the world, four of them in Japan.
