Oracle ERP solution successfully implemented for Pham Nguyen Confectionery (Phaner)

After twelve months of intensive implementation, Pham Nguyen Confectionary has successfully operated the Oracle ERP E-Business Suite R12 with good results.

The project has brought a lot of advantages for Phaner.

On September 27, the acceptance ceremony was organized at Kim Do hotel, Ho Chi Minh City by FPT Information System (FPT IS), Oracle and Pham Nguyen Confectionary. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hung- Executive Vice President of FPT IS, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thao- Deputy General Director of Phaner, Mr. Darren Rushworth – Vice President of Oracle’s Direct Application and representatives from other enterprises.

The ERP project was deployed broadly for all sections of Phaner from purchase, warehouse, planning, production, quality assurance, sales to financial accounting and management accounting for the company’s head office in Ho Chi Minh City , its factory in Long An and Hanoi Store in Hung Yen province. The company shall put the system into mass operation at the end of 2011 .

Phaner selected and deployed Oracle E-Business Suite solution to ensure smooth operation of the whole system. After the successful deployment, the system made significant contributions to the growth of 41% in revenue of the Company.

“The deployment of the solution meets requirements on improving inventory management of distribution network and also improving raw materials trace ability of the Company. This allows us to decrease our inventory level to less than 25% and the inventory interruption rate by 90%. With the system, our reporting time has been considerably decreased and decision-making ability has been strongly improved to bring considerable competitive advantages”, said Phaner’s COO Christian Leizinger.

Director of ERP FPT in Ho Chi Minh City – the unit directly consulting and deploying the project, Mr. Bui Trieu Anh Tuan said that “The success with Phaner has contributed to the successful deployment of ERP for other customers, which shows FPT IS extensive experience and capability in this area over the time”.
