Personal Income Tax project to enter user acceptance testing (UAT) phase.

Commencing on 4th January to 7th February 2010, the UAT of the Personal Income Tax (PIT) project shall be conducted. This test shall be carried out by the end users themselves.

Fifty staff from the General Department of Taxation and eight sub-departments and twenty FPT employees is expected to provide support to the test.

Testers shall attend a two-day-training course provided by the project on the application and testing methodology. They will be then divided into functional groups to execute the test, which is planned and instructed carefully in advance.

Currently, the testing environment including hardware, transmission line and 300 testing scenarios has been readily available.
