PM Nguyen Tan Dung visited FPT Hoa Lac

His visit was also attended by Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan, Head of Government Office Vu Duc Dam and other leaders from the Ministry and the Hi-tech Park Management Board.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh, Vice President Chu Thanh Ha, FPT Software’s Chairman Hoang Nam Tien, Director Le Truong Tung of FPT University and other leaders from member companies and FPT University’s lecturers and students.

The construction of FPT University is one of the key projects in Hoa Lac. Chairman Truong Gia Binh reported on the project’s objectives, building progress and the quality of services expected for students and introduced completed items to the PM.

The PM also visited the artificial ice-skating course- one of the first ice-skating yards in Vietnam, which is 408 square meters in area and made from special material modeling exactly real ice surface to create stunning but safe experience for ice-skaters.

Upon visiting the university campus, the PM praised FPT University for having paid good attention to the construction quality and reminded the university’s leadership on caring material and spiritual life of students once moving here as this is the first university to locate in Hoa Lac. He also dropped by the Vovinam martial course.

Upon reviewing the entire picture of FPT University in Hoa Lac, the PM recognized and praised FPT’s leadership for accelerating the project’s progress. Although the project has completed the first phase, it can meet the requirement of the first students commencing this May.

The PM’s visit ended with his planning tree in the university campus and taking picture with more than 100 FPT students.
