PPC communication won first prize Mobile Labs 2007

Two Second Prizes were granted to Game “Escape” by Võ Quỳnh Lâm (HoChiMinh City) and VietMedic 1.0 Dictionary by Nguyễn Quốc Tuấn (HoChiMinh City); Three Third Prizes: Game “M&C” (Mouse and Cat) – by Nguyễn Ngọc Tú (Hanoi City); Game “Galaxy Builder” – by CrocoGamez group ( Huỳnh Nguyễn Huy Sinh, Huỳnh Nguyễn Huy Thịnh – HoChiMinh City); “eMobileNews” application by Bảo Diệp and Đào Phượng Vĩ (Hanoi City); and Five Incentive Prizes: Game “BooMer Begin” by Nguyễn Hải Việt (HoChiMinh City); Game “Quang Đao” – by Trần Anh Khoa (Bình Dương Province); Game “Rich Fantasy” – by Tiger Sky group (HoChiMinh City); “Mstock WM” application (stock software for mobile phones) – by Tầm Tay group (Hanoi and HoChiMinh Cities); “KidPos” application (Kids Control) by Lê Ngọc Thắng (Hanoi City).

The PPC Communication was praised for its technology investments and high ulitities, offering users more functions, manage and protect information effectively. The product wishes to meet mobile phone users’ needs like short message protection, call record, call reject and automatic short message, a nswering machine, automated short message creation. Mr. Nguyễn Vĩnh Sơn hopes the package product is a Vietnamese made application and becomes an undispensable tool for local and foreign PDA users.

Mr. Lê Trường Tùng – President of HoChiMinh City Informatics Association and Head of the Jury said: ‘The highlight of Mobile Labs 2007 is the profession; more perfect products applied latest technologies in developing contents technology for mobile phone users in Vietnam’.

Mobile Labs 2007 attracted numerous professional and amateur participants with various contest products, especially remarkable applications dedicated to mobile devices, accounting for more than 50% 50% of total products. Products were well equipped with technologies (at system level) and the depth (hardware, software, GPMS, bluetooth connections). 

Addressing at the conferring ceremony, Mr. Hoàng Minh Châu – Vice General Director of FPT Corporation and Head of Mobile Labs 2007 Contest affirmed: ‘Mobile Labs does not only praise the winners but it also is a chance to motivate creativeness, sensitiveness of young generation who loves information technology – who created products close to the real world and tune the increasing contents industry for mobile devices nowadays in Vietnam’.

Mobile Labs 2007 is a contest on writing games and applications for mobile devices which is coordinated by FPT Company and Vietnam Television firstly in Vietnam. The Organiser expects the contest will be annual and a playing ground for creative youngsters who love information technology, creating a premise for contents field development for mobile devices in Vietnam.
