Preparation seminar for the implementation of the Personal Income Tax Project (PIT)

On 11 December 2009, a seminar in preparation for the PIT project was held in Vung Tau city by the General Department of Taxation (GDT). The seminar was attended by GDT leaders and more than 400 tax employees of tax departments and agencies nationwide and the PIT team.

FIS’ representative making a speech on the roadmap of PIT project

In the seminar, FPT Information System (FIS for short) presented on the PIT roadmap with outstanding features of the personal income tax management system such as SAP based system architecture, user authorization, professional advantages, reports on project progress and tax registration, payment and the general implementation status of the PIT project.

On behalf of the GDT, Deputy Director Le Hong Hai expressed the gratitude towards the contribution of PFT to the present success of the PIT project.

Another matter that drew the attention of the tax agencies was the completion of tax registration before the PIT final settlement. The delegates proposed that the GDT should find out measures and instructions on the final settlement for tax agencies.

The preparation seminar for the PIT project is the biggest event ever held by the taxation to provide information about the project and the PIT management solution to leaders and tax employees to ensure the availability of tax agencies for the next implementation phases.
