President of Nigeria interested in cooperation with FPT

In the four-day visit to the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 10th to 13th August, 2011, FPT delegation met Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.

President Goodluck Jonathan welcomed the delegation to visit and seek cooperation opportunities in his country.

Beside meetings with Nigerian state leaders, FPT also visited working sites, data center and facilities of 21st Century Technologies- the leading telecom group in Nigeria.

Cooperation schemes were further discussed among Nigerian companies and representatives from FPT’s subsidiaries including FPT Information System, FPT Telecom, FPT Trading and FPT University.

Previously, in July, Mr. Wale Ajisebutu, CEO and Vice President of 21st Century Technologies had visited and worked with FPT. Upon this occasion, he and FPT Executive Vice President signed the Memorandum of Understandings on strategic cooperation on July 5, 2011.

The two sides will cooperate in areas FPT is strong in including telecommunication, training and equipment manufacture.

FPT is seeking for cooperation opportunities to provide broad band services, digital content, online games, telecom solutions, technology products, consultation services and infrastructure services for 21st Century.
