Profit after tax attributed to parent company’s shareholder increased by 29% YoY

FPT’s revenue and PBT in July 2019 increased by 19.6% and 31.5% year on year (YoY), achieved VND 2,250 billion and VND 399 billion, respectively. In 7M2019, revenue and PBT increased by 21.8% and 27.5% YoY, achieved VND 14,742 billion and VND 2,538 billion, equal to 104.1% and 111.1% of the year to date (YTD) target.

FPT’s revenue and PBT in July 2019 increased by 19.6% and 31.5% year on year (YoY), achieved VND 2,250 billion and VND 399 billion, respectively. In 7M2019, revenue and PBT increased by 21.8% and 27.5% YoY, achieved VND 14,742 billion and VND 2,538 billion, equal to 104.1% and 111.1% of the year to date (YTD) target.

Profit after tax (PAT) and PAT attributed to parent company’s shareholders was VND 2,114 billion and VND 1,688 billion, up 26.8% and 29.1% compared with 7M2018, respectively. EPS was VND 2,495, up 28.6% YoY. Moreover, the PBT margin was improved to 17.2% (16.4% in 7M2018).

Financial performance by sector: Technology sector’s PBT soared by 43.4% YoY

As a key growth diver of FPT, Technology sector recorded revenue and PBT of VND 8,218 billion and VND 1,036 billion, equal to 103% and 109% of the YTD target, up 26.7% and 43.4% YoY, respectively. In which, the IT services from global market recorded revenue of VND 5,852 billion, up 37.1% YoY. PBT was VND 896 billion, up 37.4% YoY.

Telecom sector had its revenue up 17.6%, to VND 5,809 billion, equal to 103% of the YTD target. PBT was VND 972 billion, equal to 107% of the YTD target, up 13.4% YoY. In which, Telecom services’ revenue and PBT reached VND 5,487 billion and VND 808 billion, up 17.9% and 16.0% YoY, respectively.

Financial performance by market: Overseas markets' PBT up 34.5% YoY

In 7M2019, overseas markets brought FPT with revenue of VND 6,169 billion, up 32.7% YoY and PBT of VND 966 billion, up 34.5% YoY. The overseas revenue and PBT contributed 42% and 38% to the Corporation's performance, respectively (In 7M2018, the proportions were 38% and 36%).
