Scholarship presentation 2009 Prudence IT Training

In 2009, Prudence Information Technology training scholarships program was deployed in four provinces including Hanoi, Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue and Nghe An with 40 full scholarships, with the total value of 2 billion.

In Hanoi, 11 excellent students who had passed the tests of mathematics, English and interview received full scholarships of information technology training with total value of 2400 dollars for two courses in "Aptech International Programmer”.

The students will be trained in FPT-Aptech. The program will equip students with knowledge, skills, basic and advanced knowledge, creating the foundation for the start-up in the field of applied information technology.

Scholarship will provide opportunities for young people as students, young Vietnamese to participate in information technology according to international standards.

The course is organized according to the timetable of three classes per week, 4 hours each session. In the rest time, the students practice and attend workshop, visit the Software Companies to accumulate experiences and have the opportunity to participate in the information project of big companies in and outside the country.

Upon completion of the course, students will be issued International Programmer Certification by Aptech India Group.

2009 Prudence Information Technology Scholarship Program for students graduating from upper secondary school with good and excellent level having local household in 4 above location, belong to policy family or disadvantaged family, having not conditions of learning university and colleges, but having passion of the information technology industry, particularly the priority for students with good achievement in the operation Delegation and Team.

Full Scholarship Program of training Information Technology Prudence has been deployed for three years (2008-2010).

In 2008, the first year of implementing the program, there were 35 scholarships awarded to students of Hanoi city, Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa province. The Program has attracted the attention and responses of students.

Prudence Fund

In 2003, Prudential Group UK established Prudence Fund in Vietnam with the initial amount of US$1.3 million (equivalent to over VND 20 billion), with the aim to support key programs for foreign language training, information technology and sports in Vietnam. The Fund continued to be added US$1.4 million (equivalent to more than VND 22 billion) by Prudential Corporation at the end of 2006 for Fund’s activities for the period of 2007 -2010.

For the last six years, Prudence Fund in Vietnam, in collaboration with other ministries and social organizations, has implemented a number of programs such as selecting, training and developing young Tennis force for Vietnam; Training “business English” and" International Trade Negotiations” for the leaders of ministries and departments from the central to the provinces; and information technology training Scholarship.
