SIC become FPT’s shareholder

FPT has nearly 13,000 shareholders.

As informed by Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), SIC became a shareholder of FPT with 0.3% of charter capital. Transaction was made on June 17 by matching method. With about VND 46,900 per share, SIC had to spend about VND 38.8 billion implementing the deal.

Earlier, SIC registered to buy 1 million FPT shares from May 19 to June 17 by the matching method for financial investment. However, this company just bought 827, 100 ones.

After the transaction, SIC became one of FPT’s shareholders, besides its parent company SCIC holding 6.05% of charter capital.

FPT completed increasing charter capital from VND 2,750 billion to VND 3,400 billion. After the first 4 months of the year, the Corp gained VND 636 billion in profit-after-tax, an increase of 2% compared to the same period last year.
