SMS Queue System (SQS) won first prize of Vietnam Intellectual Contest 2007
In the evening of January 6th, Vietnam Labor Newspaper, Vietnam Television and FPT coordinated to hold the award conferring ceremony of Vietnam Intellectual Contest 2007 with the theme “View on Flat World”, conveying the message “Your Start”.

The contest attracted 140 local and foreign contesters in which 81 information technology products including software and hardware that were selected in the first round. Then, 13 products of 48 contesters were selected for the final round.
The ceremony was attended by Vice President of State of Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Madam Nguyen Thi Doan; Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Assembly - Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien; President of Vietnam Labor Federation Union - Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung and other representatives from scientific institutions and organizations.
The first prize in 2007 went to “La Bon Canh” - Four Wing Leaf group made by Ngo Chi Duc and Le Ngoc Hieu with the product SQS which deals with waiting time in queue. Currently, many places are using the same kind of system like the Foreign Trade Bank of Vietnam . The system offers customers queue via short message which is for the time being piloted in hospitals in HoChiMinh city.
The contest 2007 is participated by the Investment Council with aim to figure out potential projects and encourage contesters to further their business schemes based on their products.
The investment package valued at VND 75 million was sponsored by the Investment Council for the product ePi – Vietnamese language system and application on baomoi.vn by EPI group which deals with classifying key words and figuring out tautology of Vietnamese language. The product was selected for its application feasibility in fields. Also, it is the second prize product worth VND 50 million and a HP laptop.
Besides products, representative of the investment council promised other opportunities. Mr. Phan Duc Trung – Director of FPT Investment Capital and member of Investment Council said: “There are 6 investment capital management companies in the investment council and I believe that at least two other products deserve investments. So, we will directly meet with them for further to-get-to-know business schemes”.

Second Prize: VND 50 million and a HP laptop for web 2.0 based information portal building foundation by group Tam Sac: Nguyen Vo Long from Hanoi city; Pham Do Viet from Vinh Phuc province ; Vu Manh Cuong from Hai Phong city; Nguyen Hung from Nghe An province and Nguyen Dinh Vinh from Nghe An province.
Third Prize: VND 30 million and a HP laptop for the website design community by 26th Y Tuong group: Dinh Ngoc Quang from HoChiMinh City ; Truong Phi Hung from HoChiMinh City ; Lu Le Phung from Dong Thap province; Vo Hoang Nguyen from HoChiMinh City ; Pham Thi Thanh Tu from HoChiMinh City .
Third Prize: VND 30 million and a HP laptop for the JXT Tool product by N.B.I.S for Vu Nam Son from HoChiMinh City and Pham Viet Thuyet from Bac Lieu province.
“ Vietnam Practical” Award: VND 15 million and a HP laptop for the Vietnamese language comprehension product by VMC group: Pham Hong Viet; Nguyen Ngoc Quynh; Vu Thu Trang and Dinh Bao Linh from Hanoi City .
“Impressive” Award: VND 15 million and a HP laptop for the teaching support library product by Cay But Than group: Cao Thi Hanh from Nghe An; Truong Hoang Anh from Hanoi City; Do Manh Ha from Hanoi City; Le Thi Minh Loan from HaTay province and Nguyen Thi Kim Dung from HaTay province.
“Community” Award: VND 15 million and a HP laptop for the online society software system by VSMC group: Vu Kien Van from HaTay province; Vo Chi Nhan from Hanoi City and Le Phuong Chi from Hanoi .
