State Audit Office and FPT gain strategic cooperation
On November 22, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation in Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) between the State Audit Office of Vietnam and FPT Corp during 2014 - 2020 was held at the headquarters of the State Audit at No. 111 Tran Duy Hung Str., Hanoi.

Participants in the signing ceremony included Mr. Nguyen Huu Van, M ember of Central Committee of Communist Party of Vietnam, Auditor General of the State Audit Office of Vietnam and Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications. For FPT, Chairman Truong Gia Binh, CEO Bui Quang Ngoc and Chairman of FPT Information System Do Cao Bao attended the ceremony.
Under this strategic partnership, FPT will assist the State Auditor in deploying IT&T applications to its audit operation and internal management effectively and consistently to meet development practice and requirement of the State Audit till 2020.
In the strategic plan until 2020 of the State Audit Office issued by the the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the use of advanced information technology in audit planning is considered to be one of eight priority goals. "We highly appreciate FPT Corp, which is experienced in the field of IT, especially technology application for sectors very close to Audit as Finance and Banking", Nguyen Huu Van, Auditor General of the State Audit Office of Vietnam , explained the reason why the office selected FPT as its strategic partner.
FPT was committed to providing the best resources to meet IT&T application demands of the State Audit. The Group would introduce and transfer the latest IT&T achievements in public financial management in the world.
The strategic cooperation during 2014-2020 between the State Audit Office and FPT will help the State Audit Office become a prestigious public financial inspection agency in the region. The partnership with FPT also shows the determination of the State Audit Office to implement major policies of the Party, National Assembly and the Government in promoting IT&T application to management and administration.
