Stock and Bank Payment Connection - Smart Connect®

SmartConnect® solution was researched, developed and launched by FPT Information System Company with aims to support stock investors, companies and banks run smoothly and more effective, in conformity with regulations set forth by Vietnam Ministry of Finance which stipulates that from March 1^st 2007, all stock companies are not permitted to receive cash in their transactions but for nomination to a commercial bank to monitor cash of stock investors.

According to Article 32 Decision 27 (issued in April 24^th 2007) of Vietnam Ministry of Finance on organization and operations of stock company; investors will have to bank in and out and/or do their stock transactions at stock companies. It is clear that the new monitoring makes difficult to those companies whose information systems are not connected to the banking system. Additionally, a stock company will have to ensure the connectivity with big banks and vice versa, banks also wish to get connected with stock companies that could help make a comprehensive and thorough network.

Currently, SmartConnect® solution has successfully been connected between Viet Star Stock Company and Orient Bank; MHBS stocks with MHBS Bank; BIDV Bank’s Portal and ACB Bank.
