Telecom management software for Viettel
After two months of development and trial operation, software developed to manage telecom services at the telecom provider Viettel was officially accepted on October 26. FPT Information Systems (FIS) has conducted a training course for more than 100 post offices within Viettel’s operational network, and the solution is expected to be officially launched in Viettel’s nationwide network in early November.

The post office management system runs on a CSDL Oracle 10g platform with a Microsoft.Net development tool on the Internet and offers various functions, such as accounts management, updating and billing invoices for goods forwarding, debt management, and goods tracking and recording.
After two years developing the software, the contract signing is one of FIS’s initial successes in Vietnam’s postal market. Apart from Viettel, other postal companies are negotiating with FIS to apply the software in their systems.
