Tienphongbank and BIDV sign payment cooperation agreement.
On 23 November, Tienphongbank andthe Ha Thanh branch of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam(BIDV), signed a cooperation agreement on import and export payments.

Accordingly, the two banks will cooperatein processing payments made by Tienphongbank’s clients during their import andexport activities.
Tienphongbank’s clients who import and/or export goods across the Vietnam-Chinaborder will pay BIDV Ha Thanh Branch which will then make payments to a Chinesecommercial bank under the terms and conditions of the border trade paymentagreement signed by BIDV and the Chinese banks.
The payment for exported goods will be made in Vietnamese dong (VND) and forimported goods in Chinese Yuan (CNY).
