TienPhongBank Hanoi inaugurates

August 8th, 2008, at 22 Lang Ha Str., Hanoi, Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TienPhongBank) held its inauguration ceremony. In attendance were a multitude of government officials, representatives from the State Bank of Vietnam, local authorities, financial and banking institutions, members of the large business sectors, as well as reporters from national newspapers.

Since its first launch in June 2008, this is TienPhongBank’s first inauguration of a branch, paving the way for the future opening of other branches and transaction offices.

Under the theme “Towards better financial prosperity”, TienPhongBank will be opened to customers all day, including lunch time.

At the inauguration. TienPhongBank introduced its MiniBank 24/7 service, available for the first time in Vietnam. This is an automatic banking model that provides e-banking services 24 hours a day and will be realized first at 22 Lang Ha Str., Hanoi. Connected ATMs and computers will allow customers to utilize different services such as: money withdrawals, money transfer, transaction history check, or payment of bills (electricity, water, telephone, internet, cable television…) at any time, regardless of the bank’s working hours.

On this occasion, TienPhongBank also announced its decision to join Smartlink - the largest internet banking network in Vietnam. TienPhongBank’s customers throughout Vietnam will benefit from the use of over 2000 ATMs and 6000 POS of the network’s 28 member banks.
