TienPhongBank to commit financial support to FPT University students
On 9th March, a commitment was signed by TienPhongBank Deputy General Director Nguyen Hong Duc at FPT University to continue the bank’s support on preferred loans for FPT University student in 2010.

Accordingly, commencing from 2010, the students can use the personal mortgage loan to pay the fee without paying the principal and interest during the four-year-course until their graduation when the plus of the two should be paid on a monthly basis.
The supporting policy for FPT University students is also reflected via the borrowing period that lasts fifteen years longer than the normal one. The referred interest rate is now at 18%/year and shall be subject to adjustment according to rate variation. Furthermore, students are also facilitated by simpler borrowing procedure that requires fewer document beside a guaranty letter certified by the University.
The commitment signing ceremony took place within the framework of presentation of more than 300 scholarships which is named after the late Professor Nguyen Van Dao of FPT University. Subject to this scholarship are the most outstanding students of 100 high schools across the nation in 2010 enrolment. The scholarship includes USD 9.900 and a preparing English course.
With this scholarship, students are able to choose one of three majors including Information Technology, Business Administration, and Finance- Banking of FPT University.
Finance- Banking is the new program of FPT University that promises cooperation opportunities to look for and nurture talents between FPT University and TienPhongBank. In return, the Bank shall accept interns and provide support on recruitment and professional skills sharing with students.
