FSB among 1,000 Best Business Schools in the world

According to the annual ranking of business schools and universities worldwide issued by Eduniversal in late October 2013, FPT School of Business (FSB) under FPT University was one of the three business schools in Vietnam among 1,000 Best Business Schools in the world.

To achieve this honor, FSB worked hard on international joint activities as well as updated management knowledge in the world. It focused on not only latest management knowledge but also joint activities to enhance competitiveness for students and provide cooperation opportunities in Vietnam and worldwide.

First student course graduate

On 25 April 2013, the first 24 students majoring in business defended their theses. Several months later, the other two classes also graduated from FSB, increasing the number of graduates to 70 people.

According to statistics from FSB, all students of 5A class and nearly 70 % of students in 5B class had jobs or studied MBA. This is a proud achievement of FSB as the first students were highly appreciated under difficult circumstance.

FSB launched two new programs in HCMC

These are international joint programs for enterprises and MBA. To officially announce their presence, FSB held a launch ceremony and the first conference in HCMC with the theme "Vietnam’s macro economy 2014-2015: Preparation of business" attracting nearly 200 entrepreneurs.

These two programs are considered necessary pieces to perfect FSB’s operation in HCMC besides long-term and short-term programs for administrators (mini MBA, CEO, CCO, SMM...).

MiniMBA program attract more 2,000 learners in 4 years

Despite its launch at the heart of the global economic crisis (2009), the Mini MBA program has trained more than 2,000 senior managers from many corporations and businesses of Vietnam up to now. MiniMBA helped many Vietnamese enterprises improve their competitiveness in the recession storm.

MiniMBA is designed specifically for managers and candidates for leadership positions. With 12 appealing topics, updated knowledge and sharing of economic experts and successful CEOs, MiniMBA will really be an experience for administrators, potential CEOs in the future.

International Bachelor Program gain 100 % growth

The number of candidates for economics and management in 2013 was significantly reduced as they were not "hot" majors as in the previous years. However, the number of students attending International Bachelor program of FSB gained a sudden growth of over 100 % with more than 600 newly-accepted people in both regions.

This joint program between FSB and Greenwich University (UK) includes 3 majors of Business Administration, Banking and Financial Management and Marketing Management. In the coming year, it is expected that the major of Tourism and Event Management will be launched.
