Towards Pô Kô

FPT and VnExpress are going to be the project holder to build Long Jon bridge in Ngoc Hoi district of Kon Tum province with budgeted cost of VND 1.2 billion. This shall be 170-meter-long-single deck- suspension bridge including a 1.2 meter-wide leading road with wooden surface. The construction period is expected to last for three months .

FPT Land and the Department of Communication and Community, FPT Corporation are responsible for selecting contractor and overseeing the construction progress .

After the historic flood in late 2009, all the suspension bridges over the Poko river (Kon Tum province) were swept away by the violent water, seven of which belonged to the border district of Ngoc Hoi. Without any bridge, the people have desperately hung themselves gliding over the hazard water in spite of fatal danger to make their end-meets at the other side of the river .
