Two Nigerian students of FPT University join “Nationwide GIS Application” Conference
In afternoon of October 9, Agwu Chinedu and Samuel Columbus, two Software Engineering students of FPT University (FU), presented their speech at the 7th Nationwide GIS Application Conference held at College of Natural Science, Hanoi.

In afternoon of October 9, Agwu Chinedu and Samuel Columbus, two Software Engineering students of FPT University (FU), presented their speech at the 7th Nationwide GIS Application Conference held at College of Natural Science, Hanoi.
The topic presented by Samuel and Chinedu was titled "3D image reconstruction: the design, development and deployment." The report was made by the two foreign students during their internship at Center for High Performance Computing under College of Natural Science.
Coming from Nigeria, Agwu Chinedu and Samuel Columbus are joining the 1st long-term international program at FU. These guys are expected to graduate from FU in June 2016.

"The scheme of Samuel and Chinedu is very interesting. It is involved in3D image reconstruction theory and technology, fast query algorithms and high-speed computing”, said Mr. Le Hoang Son in charge of instructing these students during their internship at the center.
The event took place from October 6 to 10 at College of Natural Sciences, 334 Nguyen Trai Street, Hanoi. With over 50 presentations, the conference provided experts, organizations and enterprises at home and abroad with an opportunity to share research results of geographic information system (GIS) apps and cooperate with each other in the future.
