'V-Olympic help accelerate IT application for schools'

In the morning of February 22, V-Olympic companion program in academic year 2013-2014 took place at Nguyen Sieu secondary school, Ha Noi.
The program was attended by Director of Department of Secondary Education Nguyen Si Duc along with representatives of Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the Cau Giay district's education sub-department.
For FPT Telecom, Director of HNI2 Center Nguyen Anh Duc and Director of HNI1 Center Nguyen Hong Quan joined the event. The competition attracted more than 400 students, teachers and parents of Vietnam - Algeria, Nguyen Sieu and Dong Da secondary schools.
This is the second time FPT Telecom has co-organized V-Olympic companion program. The program has gone through 18 provinces and cities across the country.
The companion program was modeled in the form of "Intellect Mountain" test of V-Olympic. Accordingly, three teams consisting of mathematical gifted pupils in turn underwent four rounds of Startup, Obstacle, Speed up and Finishing.
Eventually, after two hours of vigorous competition, Nguyen Sieu secondary school became the winning team, Vietnam- Angieri came in second and Dong Da ranked the third.
Students also received gifts through funny game shows prizes and lucky draw programs. The competition made many good impressions on teachers, parents and students.
