Viet Steel Corporation’s ERP Project Kick- off

On March 11th, FPT Information System and Viet Steel Corporation jointly held a ceremony marking the kick – off of Viet Steel’s mySAP ERP Project. The project is expected to last 12 months.

FPT Information System will provide and implement the information system management applied solution mySAP ERP as SAP ’s strategic partner in Vietnam. The project is worth over USD 1.2 million.

This ERP system will be put into operation at 3 Viet Steel Corporation subsidiaries: Pomina Steel Mill in Binh Duong Province, Viet Steel Mill in Phu My Industrial Zone and at its headquarter in Hochiminh City.

FPT Information System and partners will tackle the project in 2 phases: The first phase includes the management of expenses, accounting; expenditures and purchases, storage, distribution, production, quality and sales management. During the second phase, FPT Information System will conduct factory maintenance, human resource management and supervision procedures.

At present, FPT Information System has successfully installed mySAP ERP for over 30 clients in Vietnam.
