Vietnam Ambassador to Singapore visit FPT Asia Pacific

FPT Asia Pacific CEO Nguyen Hoang Trung reported the business results of the company and future development plan.

Accordingly, in 2014, FPT IS Singapore and Asia Pacific were merged into FPT Asia Pacific, with nearly USD 8 million in revenue. FPT was recognized as one of nine companies in Singapore qualified to provide IT application development and system conversion services to Singapore Government as well as maintained the double-digit growth.

Last year, the company also won a project to convert applications for Sharepoint worth more than USD 2 million for Singapore Government.

Singapore is one of key markets toward the goal of Sing 100 (gaining USD 100 million in revenue). This was the first market where FPT transferred from mandated software service to overall IT service provider as well as considered as a launcher to lift FPT up to a total IT service provider for the whole Asia - Pacific region.

Right after FPT Asia Pacfic CEO asked the Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore for support in IT activities, he told the Commercial Counselor to invite FPT to participate in appropriate events.

"FPT is making a good impression and needs to take advantage of this opportunity to become Vietnam’s icon in Singapore", said Mr. Trung.

New Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Nguyen Tien Minh on January 29 presented his credentials to Singaporean President Tony Tan Keng Yam.
