Vietnam’s Intellectual 2007 – Your Initial Business
September 25th in Hà Nội, the news conference on software products presentation named “Vietnam’s Intellectual 2007” was held. The 8th annual event is coordinated by Lao Dong (Labor) Newspaper, Vietnam Television and FTP Company.

The typical feature of this year contest is the Investment Council establishment with aim to find out the most efficient commercial products. Mr. Vuong Van Viet – Editor in Chief of Labor Newspaper cum Head of the Contest Organizer said: “The Investment Council will work independently with the Organizer and the Jury, assess the commercial possibilities of products and finalize investment decisions. We hope that the Council – participated by financial investors, especially in term of I/T – will find out the most feasible projects. Once product is highly commercialized it is a big move to contesters. This is also the reason why we finalize the message of 2007 contest “Your Initial Business”.
The organizer also encourages those who participated in the “Vietnam’s Intellectual” in 2000 to develop business plans based on their contest products. This is also a chance for these kind products are widely realized.
The contest is sponsored by VP Capital – the main sponsor; VMS-MobiFone; Thuy Duong Investment Joint Stock Company – the co-sponsors. The organizer decided to increase the total value of awards to VND 320 million (formerly VND 265 million in 2006). The Vietnam’s Intellectual 2007 top prize will receive an award valued at VND 80 million (exclusively laptops sponsored by HP Vietnam).
This year, the Organizer continues launching 3rd contest in Mekong River Delta which was launched in August 2007 in Can Tho City. It is scheduled that the Award Conferring Ceremony in Mekong River Delta will be held in late November 2007.
