ViOlympic hits the milestone of 20 million members
At the awards ceremony in the morning of May 23 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, the Organizers awarded 368 gold prizes, 610 silver ones, and 1,014 bronze ones to students with outstanding achievements in the rounds.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Secondary Education Nguyen Xuan Thanh, within 7 years of development, ViOlympic achieved an impressive number with over 20 million members. In 2014-2015 school year alone, 4.3 million students participated in the rounds, 7,500 students attended the national round and nearly 2,000 students were winners.
In recent years, Ministry of Education and Training has held many intellectual playgrounds for pupils, one of which is ViOlympic jointly held with FPT. The program has gained many important achievements in 7 years.
ViOlympic increasingly attracts a large number of students while quality is steadily being improved. Exam questions require not only knowledge in mind but also application and creation. Technology must become more modern as well, supporting pupils in learning easily and smartly.
"Together with the Ministry of Education and Training, FPT wishes to make contribution to nurturing young generation by way of knowledge. In spite of many difficulties, FPT became a Vietnamese corporation with enough capacity to compete with international counterparts. As realizing no one company can grow in an underdeveloped society, we always prioritize social activities," stated Ms Truong Thanh Thanh, CSR Director of FPT.
Also, at the award ceremony, the organizers also honored Advisory Board and the teachers with many contributions to ViOlympic. 8 winners received 8 computers, each worth VND 10 million funded by FPT Telecom.
