About Visky

Visky is a technology group established in 2007 under the support of FPT Corporation.

With the target of developing advanced technology network and products catering to the needs of Internet users in Vietnam, Visky hopes to provide more convenient applications to the community in according to the local customs and demands.

ViMap is a map quest application, built on 2.0 technologies, with large contributions coming from the online community. With ViMap, users can easily search for directions and routes to different locations. The application is updated daily, with data coming in from Vimap informers, and confirmed by the community.

“ViMap can be run on most mobile accessories available on the market. ViMap has two modes, offline/online through GPRS or WIFI. ViMap hope to become the Map Quest of Vietnam, to help users avoid congestions, road constructions etc. and select the optimum and safest route”, said Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat – head of ViMap project at the launch

Users can find information about the weather, headlines, tourist attractions, local eateries, gas stations, ATMs as well as talk to friends with ViMap. User’s personal information is kept strictly private.

With its various functions of short and quick route search; comparative travel time with illustration; nearest location search (restaurants, gas station, bus station, hospital, police station etc.) ViMap hopes to become driver’s best friend on the road.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat also shared: “With the aim of creating an electronic society, we try to bring convenient applications to the market such as ViMap, ViTalk, ViHuni etc. which’re built in according to the customs and demands of Vietnamese, and hoped they will be well accepted.
