‘Warm winter' program gives 1,600 presents to children in Ha Giang

The program organizer had also collected 5 billion tons of clothes, and 120 blanket for dormitory school children during the past two months.

The "Warm winter” program also gave two computer sets and a printer for the commune’s official to facilitate their day-to-day administration.

This year, the program organizers cooperated with the Nutrition Center of Hanoi Healthcare Department to examine and measure the weight and height of local children to contribute to the comprehensive and sustainable development of children in mountainous areas.

"Warm winter” is the charitable program hosted by the Youth Union of Ha Giang province in cooperation with voluntary groups on the www.vicongdong.vn website since 2006. In 2012, the vicongdong.vn was the information sponsor of the program, marking the fourth year of FPT’s participation.

In 2011, with the involvement of generous individual sponsors, enterprises and organizations, the “Warm winter” raised a fund of over 80 million dongs and collected a large number of clothes, books and learning utilities for nearly 1,000 schoolchildren at Lung Chinh commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province.
