Advice on Protecting Data and Digital Assets of FPT IS Experts

On June 23, FPT Information System Company (FPT IS) participated in the "International Conference and Exhibition on Vietnam Cybersecurity - Vietnam Security Summit 2022". The event attracted more than 600 senior leaders in charge of cybersecurity and information technology, chaired by the Ministry of Information and Communications and jointly organized by the IEC Group. It aimed to catch up with international technology trends and improve the cybersecurity capacity of Vietnam.

At the plenary session, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - affirmed: "Ensuring cybersecurity must be considered a central mission, a top priority, and an inseparable part of the digital transformation journey. Digital platforms must stay resilient to increasingly sophisticated emerging cyber threats with more immense consequences of breaches. Therefore, nowadays, information security requires to be implemented right from the design phase as one of the must-have features of a product. Instead of handling whenever incidents arise, product developers should focus on information security throughout the development and operating cycle of the platform".

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc - Director of the Department of Information Security at the Ministry of Information and Communications - raised several issues in Vietnam's information security 2022. For example, he mentioned ensuring information security by level, online frauds, checking and evaluating the safety of digital equipment for e-government, and the lack of cyber security drills and real-world experiences. At the same time, Mr. Phuc also outlined key tasks of assuring information security for individuals, agencies, organizations, and enterprises.

Representing FPT IS - a technology company with an outstanding reputation and capacity in Cybersecurity, Mr. Le Hoang Duong - Director of Cyber Security Center - gave a speech on "Protecting Data and Digital Assets in the Age of Digital Transformation".
