FPT host a 100%-online 2021 AGM

2021 FPT’s AGM on April 8^th was planned to take place entirely online. With this format, all shareholders can easily vote and attend the seminar simply by visiting agm.fpt.com.vn.

FPT shareholders to start voting online from March 18^th

In 2020, FPT’s AGM had been successfully held a combined online-offline seminar, with a high rise in the number of voting shareholders. Now, in 2021, FPT continues to move forward with more beneficial advancements for shareholders to exercise their rights. Remarkably for this year, with the 100% online convention format, FPT shareholders can sign in and start voting immediately starting from March 18^th (20 days before the event officially starts).

Based on evaluations, this method ensures that shareholders have the right to vote by their own volition, as well as expediting and clarifying the process of counting the voting ballots, while limiting expenditure on redundant operational costs. For investors, the online seminar also helped with cutting the cost of transportation, along with increasing the initiative and convenience when attending. Not just being limited to practical benefits and assurance of rights to shareholders, the processes of participating in the seminar are also extremely simple.

How to take part in 2021 FPT’s AGM from your own home?

All of the steps to joining the seminar are included on agm.fpt.com.vn. As per the basic details, the seminar is hosted using the Zoom Webinar platform, and participating shareholders can choose between English and Vietnamese display options. Along with this, the connection allows for participation from both domestic and international viewers, and can accommodate up to 3,000 concurrent participants.

After successfully logging on, shareholders are presented with several options such as Voting – Nominating, Authorizing, and Browsing Documents presented in the seminar. Notably, unlike the previous years, even though online seminars, FPT’s shareholders can engage in early voting on March 18^th via this system.

As such, with the aforementioned online voting functionality, FPT’s shareholders are still guaranteed all of the rights they would have received had they attended in person. In fact, with its longer runtime (20 days since March 18^th), they will be allotted more time to debate upon the matters presented.

Another highlight that caught the attention of shareholders and investors was the interaction with the corporation’s board of Directors, because of this year’s extended list of options for them to have their inquiries be heard by the leadership. Shareholders can send in their questions beforehand to [email protected], or ask directly during the Q&A section of their Zoom Webinar meeting, or simply by clicking on the “raise hand” button to converse directly with the host. Face-to-face exchanges will take place during the debate phase of the convention.
