FPT to “advise” the MOLISA regarding digital transformations

Just recently, during business talks with the MOLISA regarding digital transformation in the manual industry, distinguished individuals, and social security, FPT have taken the initiative and proposed a tentative plan for digital transformation among several of the Ministry’s concerns.

Just recently, during business talks with the Minister of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) regarding digital transformation in the manual industry, distinguished individuals, and social security, FPT have taken the initiative and proposed a tentative plan for digital transformation among several of the Ministry’s concerns, such as: Social Security data systems, unemployment insurance, vocational education, etc…

Mr. Duong Dung Trieu, Chairman of FPT IS (a subsidiary of the FPT Corp.) gave his opinions on the important role of digital transformation, not only in industries and corporations, but also in social management, the labor pool, and vocational education. Mr. Trieu also shared a desire of FPT to accompany the Ministry on their upcoming digital transformation journey.

The Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, had also affirmed the necessity of digital transformation and that it should be implemented as soon as possible, or risk falling behind, especially in the field of vocational education. “Vocational education will have to take much faster strides than the Ministry’s other fields, because the digital transformation process will bring about fundamental changes to its operation and target audience” – according to Mr. Dung.

From there, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung had also ordered all divisions to follow the missions and solutions brought forth in the Project to determine the digital transformation details for each field. The Minister tasked the Information Center to cooperate with the contracted units to enact digital transformation plans for each individual category, and put together a comprehensive digital transformation detail of the entire Ministry.

Prior to that, on the 25/5/2017, the Prime Minister had approved of the National Database Construction Project regarding social security, utilizing information technology in resolving social security policies up until 2020, and developmental planning from now until 2030.
