Operate businesses without intermittency with FPT eCovax Program

With the desire to accompany and support Vietnamese businesses in operating without intermittent in the pandemic, and strengthening “antibody” power to be recognized in the “green” tier, FPT had announced FPT eCovax in order to share experiences, ideas from business leaders, leading experts in the field and also digital solutions. The program kicked off with an online conference - “FPT eCovax - Digital solution to overcome the pandemic for business” on August 8, 2021, which attracted 800 business representatives to join.

Covid-19 and its variants have turned every prediction of the world about the disease. The number of cases and death rates continue to rise globally, including countries that plan to re-open the economy. More than 200 million people were affected by Covid-19 in 220 countries and regions all over the world. In Vietnam, the 4th wave has been happening in 62 out of 64 provinces and cities, and continues to force the people and businesses to face huge losses. According to the licensing statistics from National Information Portal, in the first seven months of 2021, 79.673 firms have withdrawn from the market under the effects of Covid-19. This figure has risen by 25.5% compared to the same period in 2020. 

At the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT’s Chairman, said: “A business is a living creature - just like a human body. It can be deeply affected by Covid-19 and get the disease. Things might get worse, and a business might die - or so-called ‘bankrupted. However, the fatal rate in the business sector is much higher than it is for human beings. In Vietnam, 0.3% of the population gets the disease, and 2.2% get the death penalty. Meanwhile, the affected rate is 90% in the business sector, and the bankruptcy rate is almost 10%. This creates a long-term loss to the economy as a whole. Therefore, we desire to supply “oxygen,” create a “shield” to fight against risks, and have created the FPT eCovax Program. This program will help businesses overcome obstacles like decreased demand, shortage of capital, low maintenance of communication with customers, intermittent remote contact, and management. FPT hopes that FPT eCovax as the “vaccine jab” will meet the urgent needs of businesses in specific phases. 

The roadmap to enhance digital resistance for Vietnamese businesses

A quick survey by FPT among 400 businesses showed three biggest obstacles when working remotely were ‘Decreased productivity (43%); ‘Stucked papers, bills and contracts’ (20%), and ‘Intermittent communication’ (13%). To solve these difficulties, over 94% answered that they would definitely invest in digitalizing the management of human resources and operating a paperless office. 

Therefore, FPT has come up with the first “jab” focusing on the core problems of businesses when they cannot work in the office, meet customers and control the work productivity. FPT eCovax offers a digital solution package that helps leaders to operate the business smoothly, without intermittency. The solution will also help a business to renovate, evolve in the new normal, and maintain resistance in the long run. 

Along with releasing digital solution packages, FPT will continue to hold a series of specialized consulting conferences to share digital application experiences by experts of FPT and the field. FPT will also open the consultation portal, solving questions and concerns of businesses on VnExpress. Significantly, this will be the first time companies have the chance to be on a 1-on-1 consulting session with FPT’s Chairman - Mr. Truong Gia Binh. He is well-known as an inspiring leader who plays the consultant and judge roles in hundreds of competitions and events in the business sector and digital transformation. Mr. Truong Gia Binh is also a dedicated influencer with the Vietnamese Government’s policies in the commercial business sector.

Vaccine Covid-19 brings resistance towards the diseases. Similarly, every business needs a shield to prevent the risks that the pandemic has brought. Those include decreased demand, shortage of capital, low maintenance of communication with customers, intermittent remote contact, and management, etc. FPT hopes that with the eCovax Program, businesses can have the needed “supplement” of “digital resistance” to enhance the power in management, operation, business, and sales, etc. Ultimately, it will minimize the effect of Covid-19, maintain a business from “the survival mode to prosperous mode”.
