3 researches of FPT on AI in healthcare published in an international journal

IEEE Access and IIHMSP/FITAT journal have just published 3 scientific articles by artificial intelligence (AI) experts of FPT. This achievement contributes to promoting and enhancing the company's brand when participating in domestic and international AI research or projects.

Three studies by AI experts of FPT Software (a subsidiary of FPT) published in international magazines/conferences include: “Improving skin-disease classification based on customized loss function combined with balanced mini- batch logic and real-time image augmentation” published in the IEEE Access journal.

“A new feature selection approach for optimizing prediction models, applied to breast cancer subtype classification” posted on conference IIHMSP/FITAT 2020, under the Scopus category.

An evaluation on effectiveness of deep learning in detecting thyroid tumors based on ultrasound pictures of Vietnamese people, published at the conference IIHMSP/FITAT 2020, under the Scopus category.

In the world, there are two prestigious classification groups recognized by the scientific community, including: classification according to the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) and according to Scopus (Netherlands). In particular, the work of "Improving skin-disease classification based on customized loss function combined with balanced mini-batch logic and real-time image augmentation" posted on IEEE Access was ranked in Q1 group - the highest and most prestigious group in the list of evaluating the quality of specialized journal.

AI expert Nguyen Xuan Phong - Mila Institute for Artificial Intelligence (Canada) said that this result proves FPT Software has started to build intensive scientific project and research environment, which enable innovation, creativity and development.
