3,200 FPT IS employees ready to forge "The Next"

Over 3,200 people took part in a 24-hour event at VinWonders Nam Hoi An amusement park, marking FPT IS's 30th anniversary and kicking off a significant business transition toward global expansion.

For the first time in Vietnam, a bonding event brought together team building, a music festival, and camping into a single 24-hour experience, setting new records and creating unforgettable moments for over 3,200 participants of FPT IS. This unique program not only showcased the vibrant corporate culture of FPT IS but also highlighted a creative approach to adding value as the company embarks on its global expansion.During the event, 3,200 participants were split into 30 teams, tackling more than 50 diverse challenges over 24 hours. These activities ranged from running races and creating music videos to adrenaline-pumping games and water park fun. Each team, led by a captain, operated like a startup, integrating members from various departments and adhering to game rules to score points systematically. The large-scale event, marked by its complexity, used the event app FIS 30 The Next, developed by the FPT IS team, to manage all activities. The app provided real-time updates on team and individual scores, fueling an exciting and competitive atmosphere throughout the event.

A series of challenging activities, leading up to and during the 24-hour event, generated excitement and engagement among participating employees.

Raising professional standards was a key theme throughout the event, and a core value that FPT IS aims to embed in its culture. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, CEO of FPT IS, emphasized: "Professionalism in every action will guide FPT IS in working more effectively with domestic clients and achieving 'world-class' standards as we go global." Starting in 2023, the company is investing heavily in developing a global mindset among its employees, offering training programs to enhance their skills and foreign language proficiency. This preparation is crucial for the company's expansion into new markets like Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

The FIS 30 The Next app enhances the experience for all activities and serves as a professional operating platform for the entire event.

At this gathering, where nearly 3,000 people greeted the sunrise on Canh Duong beach, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, CEO of FPT IS, called for a focus on developing "Made by FPT IS" products. This marked the beginning of a new development phase for FPT IS, driven by market demands. Recognizing the need to move beyond relying on existing solutions, FPT IS embarked on creating "Make in Vietnam" technology products. These "Made by FPT IS" solutions are designed to tackle real industry challenges, meet customer needs, and align with market trends. Trusted by over 3,000 customers, these products compete with international standards and cover comprehensive needs in the banking, business, government, and healthcare sectors. In 2023, sales of FPT IS products reached 1,300 billion VND, validating the strategic vision and the successful instillation of this new spirit within the company.
