13/06/2026

Da Nang, June 13, 2026 – Hope School held the program “Colors of Hope – Nurturing the Future Through Love” to celebrate its 5th anniversary, marking a meaningful journey of nurturing and educating students facing special circumstances, while also witnessing high school students mature and prepare for university life.

Attending the event on behalf of Da Nang City leadership was Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training. Representing FPT were Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation and Chairman of the Founding Council of Hope School; Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh, Member of the Founding Council and Chairwoman of Hope Foundation; along with teachers, staff, and employees of the school.

The “Colors of Hope” program retraced students’ journeys from their first days at school to the moment they confidently step into a new chapter of life. Through stories of resilience, friendship, and the love they have received over the past five years, Hope School students shared their personal growth and transformation. A highlight of the event was the Coming-of-Age Ceremony for Grade 12 students, marking the completion of an important stage in their educational and personal development journey.

The “Colors of Hope” program was designed as a continuous journey, reflecting students’ learning and growth over the past five years.

One of the most emotional segments was the performance “Sowing the Seeds of Hope,” which recreated the students’ first days at school. From those initial “seeds,” they gradually grew into “Flowers of Hope,” symbolizing their development through the love and support of teachers, the FPT family, and the broader community.

Representatives of Da Nang City acknowledged Hope School’s contributions in creating a compassionate educational environment with significant social value, serving as a model worthy of consideration for future boarding-school initiatives.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, shared: “Attending Hope School’s 5th anniversary celebration, I am deeply moved, and many memories come flooding back. Over the past five years, we have witnessed the tremendous dedication of the teachers and FPT leadership. To ensure these children had meals, restful sleep, and, most importantly, access to education, FPT’s people have worked with all their hearts. What we recognize and truly appreciate is that FPT has not merely built a school; it has devoted enormous effort to caring for each student, from daily life and learning to their holistic development. This journey has been driven by love, responsibility, and perseverance.”

Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, speaking at the event.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation and Chairman of Hope School’s Founding Council, emphasized: “Five years have passed, and it is impossible to fully express the countless hands, hearts, and acts of kindness that have been dedicated to these children. I would like to share two things with our students. First is love, which is the foundation of everything. Second, cherish every day at Hope School, cherish your friendships, and cherish everything you have today.”

Mr. Truong Gia Binh also reminded graduating students that wherever life takes them, they will always carry with them a love called Hope.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh thanked all the individuals whose love and dedication have supported Hope School students.

Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh, Member of the Founding Council and Chairwoman of Hope Foundation, also expressed her gratitude to the students: “You have grown up in the embrace of Hope School, and today your teachers are truly happy. I wish you all the best as you continue to spread your dreams, your hope, and the love you have received from your teachers to the world.”

Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh expressed appreciation to Hope School students.

According to Mr. Hoang Quoc Quyen, Principal of Hope School, the past five years have been a journey of perseverance and companionship, transforming love into students’ growth and maturity. “There were difficult times, but our teachers never thought of giving up. Today, seeing students from across the country learning and growing here, we believe the ‘Seeds of Hope’ have truly begun to flourish and are ready to continue their journey.”

Mr. Hoang Quoc Quyen, Principal of Hope School, reflected on the school’s five-year journey.

The clearest testament to that journey of love is the students themselves. Representing Grade 12 students, Le Anh Thu shared: “I realized that Hope is not a place of temporary shelter; it is a place that teaches us how to grow and move forward in life. Standing at this milestone today, I feel proud that I never gave up. Above all, I feel grateful. Without Hope School, the person I am today would probably be very different.”

Over the past five years, Hope School has received support from numerous organizations, businesses, and individuals, including Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine, Thien Long Group, Vietnam Foundation for Child Stature, Tan Long Group, Nestlé, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Vietnam Women’s Union, Thanh Nien Newspaper, and many others.

Founded in 2021 by FPT Corporation and Hope Foundation, Hope School is located in FPT City, Da Nang, and operates as a boarding school model for students facing special circumstances from across Vietnam.

After five years of operation, the school has welcomed 363 students from 29 provinces and cities, representing 13 ethnic groups. Currently, students are distributed across educational levels as follows: 10% primary school, 35% lower secondary school, 37% upper secondary school, and approximately 18% have progressed to colleges and universities. All students receive care and educational support within the FPT education system.

A memorable moment from the Coming-of-Age Ceremony.

In addition to the national curriculum, the school emphasizes holistic development through skills programs and clubs such as robotics, music, visual arts, martial arts, as well as practical life activities including baking, handicrafts, and gardening. These programs help students build independence and shape their future aspirations.
