9/13 final round listed products commercialized
December 12th 2007, in Hanoi City, the Organizer of software contest named Vietnam Intellectual 2007 (co-organized by Lao Dong – Labor Newspaper, Vietnam Television and FPT Company) held a press conference to announce that 13 products listed in the final round and 10 commercial products will be presented before the Investment Council and Final Round Council.

Beside the product “Civil Electricity Management System” (designed by Lưu Thoại Ngọc Đồng and Nguyễn Lê Bá Tòng), the first amateur prize of the Delta River region of Vietnam was selected for the final round. The council selected 12 excellent products among 81 contest products.
The council selected 10 products enclosed with the most feasible business schemes among which 9 are selected for the final round. Encouragingly, young people are interested in kicking off business by their own products. Most of them are now in the procedures procedures for company establishment in order to put applications into reality.
The Editor-in-Chief of Labor Newspaper and Head of the Organizer - Mr. Vương Văn Việt said: “Almost products of the Vietnam Intellectual Contest 2007 selected for the final round were highly valued by the investment assessment council for commercial potentials. 9 among 13 products were selected for the final assessment round”.
As planned, from December 28th 2007 to January 6th 2008, the final round-selected products will be presented and defended in Hanoi city before the investment council and final round council. The first prize will get the award worth VND 80 million and a HP brand laptop. Additionally, individual product selected for the final round will get a HP brand laptop. The investment council (technologies investors who afford finance) will take considerations on business plans for investment decisions if they are feasible.
The award conferring ceremony will be held in the evening of January 6th 2008 and live broadcasting on Vietnam Television 3 – VTV3
