The visit took place as the Ministry of Public Security is accelerating the implementation of strategic digital transformation initiatives, aiming to build a modern technical infrastructure and apply core technologies to operations and state management. Among these, artificial intelligence (AI) has been identified as a key pillar with far-reaching impacts on the effectiveness of the Ministry’s operations in the coming years.

At the start of the working program, the H05 delegation visited the AI Factory, jointly developed by FPT and NVIDIA. This is Vietnam’s first AI factory, equipped with one of the world’s leading supercomputing infrastructures. The factory represents FPT’s strong aspiration to master technology and develop AI platforms, products, services, and solutions built on computing infrastructures owned and operated by Vietnamese experts.

The Department of Information Technology (H05) is responsible for modernizing the Ministry’s IT infrastructure, turning IT application and digital transformation into a breakthrough to improve operational efficiency. One of its top priorities is implementing Resolution No. 57 on the development of technical infrastructure for AI applications.
