Singer Hong Nhung brings love to Hope School

FPT Corporation's Hope School students spent a heartwarming Sunday with renowned singer Hong Nhung, affectionately called "Miss Bong" by the Hopers.

As one of Vietnam's iconic Divas, Miss Bong connected with the children not as a celebrity but as a loving mother figure, saying that her children were the same age as the Hopers. She shared childhood stories and enthusiastically joined the students in engaging club activities such as candle-making, soap-making, baking, sewing, and gardening. Her infectious laughter mingled with that of the Hopers, creating a genuinely joyful and loving atmosphere.

The day's highlight was a collaborative performance of cherished childhood songs by Miss Bong and the students. Classics such as Ngày đầu tiên đi học, Đưa cơm cho mẹ đi cày, Đi học, Cho con... resonated throughout the school, evoking pure and nostalgic memories for everyone present.

Reflecting on her visit, Miss Bong shared that she felt a vibrant and unique energy coming to Hope in November during the Vietnamese Teachers' Day celebration. "At Hope, I saw music, and I saw my own childhood," she said.

The day was filled with endless singing and laughter, yet it ended on an emotional note as the children shared their heartfelt stories with Miss Bong. In turn, she opened up about her family, especially her respected mother, creating a deep emotional bond. Miss Bong connected with the Hopers as an artist, friend, and mother figure. She expressed her affection: "I will never forget the beautiful smiles and crystal-clear tears. Together, we will connect our love to create a wonderful world called Hope."
