During his speech at the Leaders Forum 2025 held on September 24, FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa emphasized, “AI only truly holds value when it is implemented with responsibility and humanity,” calling on CEOs to approach AI as a means to elevate humans, not replace them.
Leaders Forum 2025 was the opening event within the framework of the HCMC Business Summit 2025: “Converge and Rise”, jointly organized by two prestigious business associations in Ho Chi Minh City — the Young Businesspeople Association (YBA HCM) and the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (HAWEE). With the theme “High-touch vs High-tech: Humanity × AI × Impact”, the pioneering leadership forum posed a fundamental question of the era: “Will AI cause us to lose our human essence, or will it become the lever for leaders to connect more deeply with people?” The forum opened a rare space for dialogue where nearly 800 leaders, CEOs, and executives directly listened, debated, and reflected on themselves. It was not only a platform for strategic sharing but also a place for Vietnamese business leaders to seek a “compass” for accompanying AI responsibly and humanely.
Bringing AI into Everyday Life – Technology Serving Humans
Since 2019, FPT has appointed a Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and held quarterly AI conferences to connect top management and update AI adoption progress across business units. Speaking at the forum, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT, affirmed: “AI is not just technology; it is the breath of life. We integrate AI into every corner of our work to enhance human capability, not to replace humans.”
Speakers shared their insights at the forum.
The FPT CEO shared that the corporation has deployed 1,000 AI Agents serving 84,000 employees - from CodeVista (a programmer’s assistant), AI Mentor (a personalized learning platform), to myFPT, FPT Chat, and FPT Place - the digital ecosystem for HR management and internal communication. These are concrete examples of FPT’s “AI in everyday life” strategy. Moreover, FPT has built a comprehensive AI ecosystem designed around three core goals: Profit – Productivity – Innovation. Profit drives business growth; Productivity enhances labor efficiency; and Innovation promotes creativity. The Group also aims for 20% of innovation ideas to be directly related to AI through the iKhiến program — its internal innovation platform that records 2,500–3,000 initiatives each year. In 2024, iKhiến initiatives boosted labor productivity by approximately 30%, generating over VND 865 billion in added value, with AI contributing about 23% (around VND 200 billion).
Culture as a Strategic Filter in Digital Transformation
According to FPT’s CEO: “If you want to go fast, use technology; if you want to go far, rely on culture. Technology is a tool, but culture is the identity.”

This is also part of FPT’s long-term commitment to investing in people. In 2024 alone, the Group implemented AI literacy programs for tens of thousands of employees and designed in-depth courses for executives and middle managers. The goal is to train 100% of FPT employees in AI, empowering them to stay proactive and confident, avoiding the fear of being replaced in the AI era.
A concrete example of the “high-touch” (human-centered) approach is FPT’s transition to three new work platforms: the myFPT Next app, the internal chat app FPT Chat, and the internal social network FPT Place. The myFPT Next app serves as a “super app,” integrating essential features around five core values: Communication, Performance Management, Recognition, Personal Development, and Benefits. Subsidiaries can build and link their specific “mini apps” within this shared platform, enhancing internal connection and user experience. Meanwhile, the FPT Chat and FPT Place platforms replaced Meta’s Workplace and WorkChat after they were discontinued. Initially, employees were hesitant, but by prioritizing practical usability — adding the most relevant utilities like salary, bonus, and insurance information to myFPT Next, integrating task assignment features into FPT Chat, and encouraging leadership to lead by example — the adoption rate reached 87.6% within just two months.
Approaching AI Responsibly and Humanely
Concluding the morning session, FPT’s CEO stressed: “FPT chooses to approach AI responsibly and humanely - placing humans at the center so that technology becomes a tool to elevate, not replace.”
With this orientation, the FPT CEO called on Vietnamese business leaders to view AI as an opportunity to reinvent not only products but also mindsets, cultures, workflows, and workforce capabilities.
