Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee wishes FPT to “accelerate” in the Year of the Horse

On the afternoon of February 23, Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee Pham Duc An led a city delegation to visit and extend New Year greetings to FPT on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Receiving the delegation, Nguyen Tuan Phuong, Director of FPT Software Da Nang, representing FPT, conveyed New Year wishes and provided a brief report to city leaders on the company’s operations and achievements in the technology sector in the locality.

At the meeting, representatives of FPT’s member companies also presented to the city leadership their results and goals for the new year across telecommunications, digital transformation, high-tech development, and semiconductor chips. In the field of education, FPT is currently training 18,000 pupils and students at various levels in Da Nang, a scale highly appreciated by the Chairman of the City People’s Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Pham Duc An affirmed that FPT is one of Vietnam’s leading technology enterprises. According to him, Da Nang is focusing its development on innovation, with science and technology as the core direction, and sees FPT’s areas of operation as highly aligned with the city’s development strategy.

The city leader expressed his expectation that FPT will continue to expand its investments, joining Da Nang in becoming a major growth hub of Central Vietnam and the country. In the coming period, Da Nang will create favorable conditions for businesses engaged in innovation and science and technology, with FPT recognized as a pioneer.

“Entering the new year, I hope FPT will accumulate more energy, enthusiasm, and determination to successfully fulfill its assigned missions. In the Year of the Horse, strive to move fast, achieve results early, and exceed timelines,” Chairman An stated.

The delegation also toured the campus and office areas. The Chairman expressed his impression of the meaning behind the Cuder statue displayed in the FPT Software lobby and hoped that this symbol would continue to inspire innovation, ignite the ambition to conquer technology, and motivate engineers and staff to contribute to the development of Da Nang and the country.
