VioEdu Online Education System Hosts Regional Round 3 and National Final of the 2026 VioEdu Arena

The VioEdu Online Education System successfully organized the Regional Round 3 and National Final of the 2026 VioEdu Arena, one of Vietnam's largest computer-based, in-person academic competitions for students from Grades 1 to 8. The event reflects FPT's commitment to leveraging technology to advance digital capabilities among Vietnam's younger generation.

On July 26, 2026, 3,550 outstanding students competed in the highly anticipated offline round of the VioEdu Arena across three venues: Hanoi (Nguyen Nhu Uyen Secondary School), Da Nang (FPT Primary, Secondary and High School Da Nang), and Ho Chi Minh City (Le Van Tam Primary School).

Top nationwide champions were honored at the Northern venue.

Compared with the inaugural offline season in 2025, which attracted 2,650 contestants across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the 2026 National Final expanded to include a third venue in Da Nang while significantly increasing the number of participants. Held simultaneously across the North, Central, and South regions, contestants competed in two knockout rounds within a single day:

• Morning – Regional Qualifiers: Students competed against hundreds of peers in the same grade level to secure a place among the Top 30 contestants in each region.
• Afternoon – National Final: The top-performing contestants advanced directly to compete for the national championship title, with winners recognized and awarded on the same day.

Throughout the competition, each student's performance and ranking were displayed in real time on LED screens at every venue, creating an exciting atmosphere for both contestants and parents.

Unlike online competitions where students interact only through computer screens, the offline event gave participants the opportunity to meet and compete face-to-face with peers who share the same passion for learning, making it a memorable and meaningful summer experience.

According to the Organizing Committee, the largest competition session saw 443 students competing simultaneously at a single venue. The event was supported by a robust technology infrastructure featuring comprehensive operational planning, technical monitoring, and automated scoring in accordance with the competition rules, significantly reducing waiting times and optimizing event operations.

This year's National Final concluded with a total prize pool worth VND 1 billion, featuring scholarships, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, medals, teddy bears, and many other exclusive gifts. The Organizing Committee aims to establish the VioEdu Arena offline competition as an annual summer event, creating a valuable technology- and knowledge-driven experience for students nationwide ahead of each new academic year while helping prepare the next generation of globally connected digital citizens.

Six Years of Nurturing Vietnam's Future Digital Citizens

Since its launch in 2020, the VioEdu Arena has attracted more than 20 million student participations across multiple seasons, becoming one of Vietnam's most recognized online academic competitions among students and schools.

During the competition, students complete a series of interactive knowledge challenges within 15–20 minutes. The system automatically ranks participants based on the number of correct answers, response speed, and accuracy, following Vietnam's 2018 General Education Curriculum. The time-limited competition format helps students strengthen logical thinking, quick decision-making, and concentration.

The VioEdu Arena also serves as an important stepping stone for students to become familiar with digital technologies at an early age, preparing them for future competency-based and critical thinking assessments. Beyond individual development, the competition has received strong support and recognition from schools and educational authorities for its positive educational and social impact.
