Criteria for FPT University’s scholarship worth VND 250 million

According to the announcement of FPT University (FU), freshmen will be considered for Nguyen Van Dao scholarship worth 100% tuition, corresponding to the total cost of 4 academic years about VND 250 million. In order to get the scholarship, candidates must meet one of following criteria: Winning the first, second and third prize in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics and English in National Exam for Gifted High-school Students 2014, 2005; Scoring 94 or more points in the entrance exam 2015 of FU; in 2015 National High School Exam, gaining 27.5 points or more (without priority points) for a group of three subjects according to each registered branch of learning at FU.

The scholarship fund named after Professor, Academician Nguyen Van Dao was founded by FPT University in 2010. It aims at seeking, attracting and nurturing talents as well as remembering contributions of late Professor and Academician Nguyen Van Dao to education, science and technology of Vietnam in general and the development of FPT University in particular.

This year, in addition to Nguyen Van Dao scholarship worth 100% tuition, scholarships valued at 50%, 70% and 90% tuition will also be granted. The total number of Nguyen Van Dao scholarships for freshmen in 2015 will be 200 sets.
According to the University's announcement, scholarships will be given in the order of admission date of qualified candidates. Accordingly, those who meet one of the above criteria may apply for admission from now to the end of August 20.

In 2015, besides Nguyen Van Dao scholarships, FPT University will also grant 200 "Investing with you" scholarships for the first time with 3 levels including VND 10 million, VND 20 million and VND30 million.

FU’s  enrollment targets in 2015 is 1,600 full-time students with majors including software engineering; Electronics-Communication; Information Security; Business Administration; Banking & Finance; Japanese; English; Graphic design and Architecture. On September 6, the 3rd entrance exam 2015 at FPT University will be held. The 1st and 2nd ones were held on May 10 and July 19 in Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, attracting more than 6,000 students across the country.
