CyRadar by FPT makes strong impression on foreign visitors

At the 2016 Innovation Roadshow on Monday, March 7 many domestic and foreign partners highly appreciated CyRadar Advanced Malware Protection System.

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in collaboration with the U.S. Mission to Vietnam hosted the 2016 Innovation Roadshow. This event brings together Vietnamese government officials, start-ups, angel investors, start-up supporting agencies and U.S. businesses. The event was attended by Ted Osius, the US ambassador to Viet Nam, David H. Thorne, the Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State and more than 20 Vietnamese start-ups.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Security Manager, FPT Technology & Innovation Department is introducing CyRadar to visitors.

Joining this event, FPT provides introduced CyRadar Advanced Malware Protection System. According to Nguyen Minh Duc, Security Manager, FPT Technology & Innovation Department, CyRadar using Machine Learning and Big Data would help enterprises detect the new threats faster and more accurately.

After listening to the introduction of CyRadar, Jason Fischer, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Region at UL International, said that the need for cyber security was strongly increasing. FPT needed to rapidly improve and develop CyRadar. In particular, the company must prove the effectiveness of CyRadar in order to find out a suitable business model.

Sharing Mr Jason Fischer’s opinion, Ms. Rebecca Tauber (working for Coursera) said that CyRadar shows its obviously potential application. According to her, the number of cyber attacks was increasing; companies in the world are in need of cyber security solutions to prevent from hackers. It is necessary to have such solutions as CyRadar.

FPT is running the solution’s test in some enterprises and news agencies of Vietnam such as MobiFone Vietnamnet and a member company of FPT Corp. In late 2015, CyRadar was awarded High quality Information Security Product 2015 by VNISA.
