FIS runs pilot tax project successfully in Bangladesh

FPT IS has successfully converted data for 31 departments of taxation and completed the pilot project for some areas. This is a part of a USD6.6 million contract to provide and deploy an Integrated Tax Administration System for the Income Tax Department in the Bangladesh signed in 2014.

The successful pilot project makes a great significance in bringing app to life. This also proves the ability of FPT IS.

The project plans will continue to be implemented for the remaining 30 tax departments. It is expected that the company will complete the deployment for all tax departments of Bangladesh by the end of July.

The system is expected to serve 1,200 tax officers, 3 million taxpayers and around 650 local tax authorities in Bangladesh.

Items of this project include SAP Tax and Revenue Management; Hardware infrastructure and Operational support system.
