In 2023, FPT achieved a significant milestone by reaching 1 billion USD in IT service revenue from international markets for the first time. As of the first five months of 2024, the Corporation's revenue and pre-tax profit have continued to show robust growth, reaching 23,916 billion VND and 4,313 billion VND, respectively, marking a 19.9% and 19.5% increase compared to the same period last year. In May 2024, FPT secured five additional large projects in foreign markets, each valued at over 5 million USD, bringing the total number of projects won since the beginning of the year to 26. This trend underscores the growing global demand for technology investment and underscores FPT's reputation and technological capabilities. Currently, FPT teams up with leading companies across various sectors, including Aviation, Automotive, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Energy. The Corporation serves nearly 100 customers listed in the Fortune Global 500.

Forbes Vietnam calculates its list of the 50 best-listed businesses based on consolidated audited financial statements from companies listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HSX) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). The total after-tax profit of the 50 companies on the list amounted to 190,831 billion VND, marking a 13% decline compared to the 2023 list. Total revenue reached 1,296,831 billion VND, down 16.7% from the previous year. Petrolimex led in revenue with 273,979 billion VND, while Vietcombank topped the list in after-tax profit at 33,033 billion VND.

To compile the List of 50 Best-Listed Companies in 2024, firms listed on HSX and HNX undergo several evaluation stages. In the initial phase, companies must meet specific criteria: profitability in 2023, minimum revenue, and capitalization of 500 billion VND. In the subsequent round, companies are quantitatively assessed based on five criteria: compound growth rates of revenue, profit, ROE (Return on Equity), ROC (Return on Capital), and EPS (Earnings per Share) growth from 2019 to 2023.

Forbes Vietnam then conducts qualitative investigations to assess the businesses' sustainable development, including their industry position, profit sources, corporate governance quality, debt-to-equity ratio, ownership structure, and industry prospects. Capitalization figures are finalized as of May 31, 2024, using audited consolidated financial statements from 2023. The quantitative calculations are supported by Ho Chi Minh City Securities Company.

Forbes Vietnam plans to host an awards ceremony in August 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City to honor the 50 best listed companies.
