FPT among top 10 companies with 4.0 technology capabilities

Within the framework of Japan ICT Day 2019 in Da Nang, FPT was honored in top 10 companies with 4.0 technology capabilities by Vietnam Association of Software and Information Technology Services (VINASA). This is the second year in a row FPT has been ranked among this list.

According to VINASA, those reputable and capable tech enterprises were selected and introduced to domestic and international partners. Therefore, in addition to the criteria related to finance, human resources, markets and customers, TOP 10 with 4.0 technology capacities must meet 04 important criteria including technology capacity, implemented projects and number of engineers with certificates in new technologies.

Some other names among TOP 10 are VNPT, MobiFone and Viettel Business Solutions Corporation.

FPT is one of the pioneers in the new trends in Industry 4.0 field. FPT focuses on digital transformation towards the world's top 50 digital transformation service providers in the next 10 years. Currently, FPT has formed an ecosystem of digital transformation solutions and platforms to help organizations and businesses globally improve their operational efficiency, better customer experience as well as develop new business models. They include FPT.AI, Blockchain, akaBot, akaDoc, akaTrans, FPT.eHospital and FPT.eGOV etc.

In terms of 4.0 HR, FPT now has more than 16,000 engineers and tech experts with more than 7,000 international certificates. FPT is developing and deploying IT solutions and services for 600 large corporations in the world, including about 100 ones among Fortune Global 500. FPT's outstanding projects in recent years include becoming development partner of Skywise - Airbus' open aviation data platform; the digital transformation consultant to DPDgroup - Europe's second largest parcel delivery network.

In 2018, FPT ranked among the top 10 private enterprises in Vietnam with 17.4% and 30. 6% growth in revenue and profit, respectively, equivalent to VND 23,214 billion and VND3,858 billions; offering jobs with stable income for nearly 28,000 people. In particular, revenue from digital transformation increased by over 30%. In the first 9 months of 2019, the revenue from digital transformation services was VND 2,525 billion, an increase of 35.2% over the same period, contributing 32.4% of the total tech revenue in foreign markets.

FPT officially confirmed its commitment to lead the digital transformation towards a prosperous Vietnam. In order to realize this vision, FPT aims at 35–50% reduction in the time of deploying the digital transformation projects for organizations/businesses with its comprehensive foundations and products; training 50,000 high-quality technology engineers and sharing knowledge, methodology and tools with Vietnamese technology companies to broaden the scope of digital transformation.
