FPT announces Top 13 designs for “FPT Logo Design” contest
Hanoi , February 22nd, 2008, FPT Corporation officially announced the Top 13 logos out of over two thousand submissions after nearly 2 months since the launch of its Logo Design Contest.

On March 2nd, the Top 13 applicants will present their designs to the Board of Examiners to decide the prize. The award ceremony is scheduled for the 3rd of March, 2008, with total prizes worth up to 260 million VND.
On February 15th, FPT announced the recipient of its E- Citizen Award for the most voted logo online and the Top 100 logos - 90 selected by the Board and 10 by the online community. The E- Citizen Award was given to Nguyen Vu Thien Thanh (HCM City) application code FPT 1517.
Mr. Ngo Anh Co (Head of the Scientific Research Department - Hanoi University of Industrial Arts), Chairman of the Board of Examiners for the “FPT Logo Design” Contest said: “Most submissions are highly creative while still taking after the coloring theme of FPT’s current logo. We have selected the most outstanding logos and are quite satisfied with them, although some ò them still require modification. Most of the applicants have displayed basic knowledge about FPT and designing.”
Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan, FPT Corporate Brand Manager, said: “In terms of communication, this contest has succeeded in mobilizing public intellectual’s diversity. A few submissions were very creative, with high quality and lay-out, meeting FPT’s criteria. These are truly potential candidates for the new FPT logo”.
The “FPT Logo Design” Contest was held with the aim of finding an innovative approach to presenting the FPT mark, appropriate to it information technology and telecommunication-based characteristics. Contest designs are evaluated according to four criteria: idea, creativity, originality, aesthetics, feasibility and ease in application to different materials.
