FPT Camera Dominates Vietnam's Cloud Storage Camera Market

According to a recent survey by Q&Me Research Company assessing the needs and trends in smart home products and security cameras in the Vietnamese market, FPT Camera is the leader in awareness and usage, with rates of 83.8% and 17%, respectively. Viettel Camera follows closely, with a recognition rate of 62.8% and 6.8% usage.
Despite fierce competition from renowned global and Chinese brands, the domestic enterprise still dominates the market share of cloud camera services in Vietnam.
Regarding security cameras, brands such as Ezviz, Imou, Dahua, Hikvision, and FPT Camera are top of mind for Vietnamese users. Chinese brands reportedly dominate the majority of the market share in Vietnam.
However, in the cloud storage camera segment, a Vietnamese business is excelling in the domestic market.

The three brands, Imou, Hikvision, and Ezviz, are widely known, but their usage rates are lower. Among the top three most used cloud camera brands, FPT Camera leads with 67.1% of users favoring it for its secure data protection feature. The Vietnamese brand also excels in low-light video recording, with 47.1% of consumers preferring it. Ezviz takes the lead in resolution and image quality, with 73.3% of consumers choosing it. Imou is favored for its two-way audio feature, with 45% of consumers preferring it.
In particular, FPT Camera leads in providing maintenance, deployment, and technical support services, with a selection rate of 21.2%. Users show a clear preference for "Made in Vietnam" camera products.
In a survey on user trust in cloud camera services, FPT Camera dominates with 46.6% of users, followed by Viettel Camera at 28.2%. Other brands like Imou and Ezviz also have significant competition at 18%.
In terms of data security, the top five most trusted brands include three Vietnamese brands: FPT Camera, Viettel Camera, and Lumi. FPT Camera ranks first in data security with a trust rate of 25.2%.
Among the three most used brands — FPT Camera, Ezviz, and Imou — FPT Camera boasts the highest rate of users willing to recommend the brand at 75.3%. These figures highlight the significant advantage of Vietnamese brands in the domestic camera market, especially in Cloud Camera services.

Additionally, data is encrypted before transmission and protected by dual-layer security authentication, ensuring robust safety and security for users' information.
As a result, FPT Camera complies with the National Technical Regulations for surveillance cameras set by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
In addition to offering modern and secure storage services, FPT Camera benefits from advanced artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The FPT Cloud AI platform enables centralized remote management and features a system for processing data by function, level, and area.
In addition to the Human Detection feature, which differentiates between people and objects like vehicles, animals, and leaves to reduce false alarms, FPT Camera offers advanced AI services.
